About Global Dialogue
Global Dialogue is the open-access online magazine of the International Sociological Association, striving to offer truly global and public sociology.
First started in 2010, it is now available in more than 15 languages and appears 3 times a year, in April, August and December. Individual articles are available in English for online reading, while full issues can be accessed in PDF format in a range of languages.
The magazine contains short and accessible articles aimed at sociologists and the wider public. It brings visions, accounts and analyses of pressing issues from different corners of the world, discussions on theoretical approaches, and interviews with sociologists about the perspectives for our discipline. It offers a sociological lens on current world events, underlining our continuing relevance to public debates.
